2-Day Course
This course was designed as an introduction to the Carbine system, where the student will learn the fundamentals of using the carbine platform as a defensive tool. The course will give the student the understanding of the carbines capabilities as well as its limitations. This is the perfect course for the new carbine owner or intermediate shooter that wants to hone their skills.
What You Will Learn
Over two days you will learn the fundamentals of the carbine system.
The fundamentals of the carbine system you will be trained on are:
Slinging and Firearm Manipulation
Loading and Unloading
Grip and Stance
Supported Firing Positions (Kneeling, Squatting, Sitting, and Prone)
Fundamentals of Firing Control
Reloading (Tactical, Emergency)
Malfunctions Clearances (Type 1,2,3)
Target Engagement (From 0 to 100 Yards)
Hostage Situation
Close Quarter Engagement out to 100yrds.
By the end of the course, you will have a thorough understanding of how to use a carbine rifle.
Required Equipment
To get the most from this course, you will need:
Firearm - AR-15, AK-47, Mini-14 or Like with a Sling, Red Dot or Iron Sights
Minimum of 5 Magazines
Magazine Pouches
250 Rounds of New Ammo. NO RELOADS
Knee Pads
Eye and Ear Protection
Dress for the Weather
